Functional Planning

A functional plan describes the features and functions of the site, including the planned tools.

Prescient’s functional plans incorporate recommendations from the Key Findings report and best practices and are mapped to the intranet or website strategy in order to provide a list of high and low priority features that the intranet or website requires. The functional plan can be used to assist in the evaluation of a content management system and as a guide by the IT department to gain a clear picture of the technical requirements for the intranet or website.
