Michael Rudnick, Managing Partner
Michael is an industry pioneer, having created many of the first intranets for Fortune 100 companies in the mid-1990s. His unique blend of communication, collaboration, and technology expertise has transformed Fortune-500 organizations in the areas of intranets, enterprise portals, social business/collaboration, internal communication, HR service delivery and technology.
Michael has a well-regarded reputation for innovation, counseling c-suite, leading winning teams and delivering high-impact results. He is also a frequent speaker and author.
Prior to joining Prescient, Michael spent over a decade leading the portal practice at a large, global consulting firm, lead the Intranet practice at two dot-com era firms (including Xceed where he and Toby worked together for 2 years), and prior had founded the first intranet-specific consulting firm, Cognitive Communication, in the early 1990s.
Michael is active in industry trade circles, serving as an Editor of Workforce Solutions Review (the publication of the International HR Information Management Association), and the CFO for The Communication Leadership Exchange. He is a former International Board member for IABC.
When not working with clients, Michael and his wife can usually be found on a boat or cheering on their daughter who’s an All-American sailor at Brown. Michael is active in US Olympic Sailing, President of the LISOT Sailing Foundation, and was a race official at the sailing events at 1996 Olympic Games.
Michael earned his BA in political science and media from Ithaca College.
